# Alerts and Monitoring

Alerts are automated notifications designed to inform users about specific events, updates, or changes related to predefined keywords, topics, or websites. These notifications enable individuals and organizations to stay informed about relevant developments in real time.

#### **How to Configure Google Alerts**

To set up Google Alerts, follow these steps:

1. **Access Google Alerts**

2. **Enter a Search Query**
   * Input the keyword or phrase you wish to track (e.g., "cybersecurity trends").
3. **Customize Alert Preferences**
   * Click **Show options** to refine alert settings:
